Please note that a 15 minute mile pace or faster is required for both the 5k and 10k race distances. A 15 min. mile pace is roughly four miles per hour, equivalent to a very brisk walk. If you fall below this pace, the race organizers can no longer guarantee course support. Aid Stations, medical support, portable toilets, and road closures will begin to become unavailable to participants. The local police and race organizers will ask you to reroute to a shorter version of the course, or move up onto the sidewalk where you will be required to obey regular traffic laws.

The Run Mag MileTM 10k & 5k course highlights the city’s biggest attractions. We hold our races to the highest quality standards, from start to finish, course design and accuracy, emergency medical plans that exceed industry standards all in the name of your safety. Along those lines, all RAM Racing events have a USATF-certified course with a distance that has been certified for accuracy. Please note that although we’ll try our best to avoid it, the course and start time is subject to change.
With 5k and 10k distances, this race is great for new runners, local visitors, or the more competitive runner looking to PR on the flat course. Come join us for a race along Chicago's Magnificent Mile, and view the Windy City at its finest!

- Start Corrals
Run Mag MileTM 10k & 5k uses assigned start corrals to maintain a safe, fast, and fun course for all participants. Your corral assignment will be emailed to you approximately two weeks prior to the race and will be printed on your race bib. Please be in your corral five minutes prior to the start of your race. There will be a break of approximately three minutes between each corral.
